The new edition has over 200 local businesses that have been certified with this unique program

This year's Elder FriendlyŽ directory contains listings of businesses in Oregon and SW Washington that have been evaluated by trained older adults and found to meet our access standards. The Elder Friendly program provides valuable feedback to businesses interested in making our community more accessible to everyone. Elders in Action's Elder FriendlyŽ Business Certification program is setting a national standard and precedent for how businesses can best serve older customers. Our program has certified over 200 local businesses and the program has been replicated in 13 sites in 9 states nationwide.
